H.E. Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General OIC-COMSTECH, was honored to receive a traditional Kazakh Shapan from H.E. Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, during their meeting on the sidelines of the Regional Ecological Summit 2026 in Astana during April 23 to 25, 2026. The Shapan is a traditional outer robe and one of the most recognizable elements of Kazakh culture.
